n 2013 we had 6+ inches of rain during the last week of June and 1st if July. The flooding created a vernal stream in our upper field and standing water in the lower field. I placed 75 ft of cheesecloth in the stream on July 3RD. My parameter was to leave the cloth in place until the stream dried up, it took 7 weeks.
